Diab attributes the changes to the producer's lack of new and strong styles. In early 2006, Music Arranger Fahd was supposed to work on this album; however, later that year Dr. Tarek Madkour joined Amr Diab, and they started together to work on it.

Pamela Williams is a smooth jazz saxophonist with deep roots in R&B and soul music. She is one of a few female saxophonists in the genre (Candy Dulfer, Mindi Abair, Amy Lee, and Chika Asamoto are among the others). Williams grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was also the adopted hometown of an early influence of hers, Grover Washington, Jr. She first found fame as a member of Patti LaBelle's backup band, and her career took off from there. Williams played soprano and alto saxophones.

The Click Five is a power pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. Originally known as the Click, they enjoyed success on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with the song "Just The Girl" (written by Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger) in 2005. Earlier that year, they toured for two months as an opening act for Ashlee Simpson and later with the Backstreet Boys. Afterwards, The Click Five began an autumn 2005 tour with Ryan Cabrera and The Veronicas. They have also performed at J.C. Penney's Rock Your Prom fashion shows. In the autumn of 2006, the band was the special guest on an arena tour of the UK and Ireland with the pop/rock band McFly.

You Say Party! We Say Die! (often abbreviated to YSP! WSD!) is a Canadian five piece dance-punk band from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Their album Hit the Floor! was released in September 2005, and the band recently completed their second Canadian tour, an appearance at South by Southwest and a tour of the United States, before touring the United Kingdom and Germany. Their sophomore album Lose All Time was released on March 20, 2007 on their new label Paper Bag Records.
