After racking up huge sales with Live, Foghat found themselves forced to choose between staying a hard rock cult group or trying to expand their success and become a full-on commercial phenomenon.

The Click Five is a power pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. Originally known as the Click, they enjoyed success on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart with the song "Just The Girl" (written by Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger) in 2005. Earlier that year, they toured for two months as an opening act for Ashlee Simpson and later with the Backstreet Boys. Afterwards, The Click Five began an autumn 2005 tour with Ryan Cabrera and The Veronicas. They have also performed at J.C. Penney's Rock Your Prom fashion shows. In the autumn of 2006, the band was the special guest on an arena tour of the UK and Ireland with the pop/rock band McFly.

Blackout is a 1982 album by the German Heavy metal band Scorpions.
This effort by Scorpions shows off their uncanny ability to pull off energetic songs and to produce an easily commercialisable brand of heavy metal with a pop shine. A hit single ("No One Like You") from this album was the first real success the band had in America.

Another New Order album. Already posted Get Ready, this time I will skip the same introduction and shall proceed to what matters: New Order are an English rock group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, electronic drums), and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers). The band was formed in the wake of the demise of their previous band, Joy Division, following the suicide of singer Ian Curtis. They were soon joined by keyboardist/guitarist Gillian Gilbert.

The Greenwich Meridian from which all Zappa navigations begin. Originally released in 1966, it's the first Mothers of Invention record & just possibly the first rock "concept" album -- it purportedly inspired Paul McCartney to start writing SGT. PEPPER.
