Natasha Bedingfield (born November 26, 1981) is an English singer-songwriter. Bedingfield debuted in the 1980s as a member of the Christian rock group The DNA Algorithm with her siblings Daniel Bedingfield and Nikola Rachelle. Throughout the 1990s, Bedingfield recorded rock and gospel songs for the Hillsong London Church.

This volume of the chart-survey series is its best yet, offering stellar examples of nearly every subgenre it approaches. Interestingly, the platinum machine's eighth outing is also its most subtle (the take-your-time sultriness of Aaliyah's "Rock the Boat," Usher's "U Got It Bad") and teasingly offbeat (Gorillaz's dub-wise sleeper "Clint Eastwood," the Wiseguys' noise-hop "Start the Commotion") moments. Whether this indicates a trend toward the return of a higher-quality singles chart has yet to be determined, but save for a small handful of crummily derivative nontunes from Jessica Simpson, Fuel, and 3 Doors Down, the music here makes a good case for itself. Could a broadening definition of what's mainstream be fomenting? Caveats: 'N Sync's "Pop" is included in a remix that bleeds the record of some of its novelty, while Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Real" appears without the Ja Rule rap that helped lift it to bestseller status.

Thin Lizzy are a hard rock band who formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1969. The band was originally led by bassist, songwriter and singer Phil Lynott. They are best known for their 1976 songs Jailbreak and The Boys Are Back in Town, both major international hits still played regularly on hard rock and classic rock radio stations.

This fifth studio album could be Ash's last, of course, if their new plan of just recording and releasing singles proves fruitful. When that announcement was made, it made total sense: Ash have only really made one album worth bothering with (debut 1977) and three sub-standard collections of filler, dotted with occasional singles. Therefore, since Tim Wheeler has let us down so many times in the past, it's hard to find anyone that still gives a shit about Ash bringing out a new album. There certainly isn't a frenzy of hysteria.

Before the New York Dolls ever set foot inside a recording studio with Todd Rundgren to work on their classic 1973 self-titled debut, the group had recorded a healthy number of demo tapes. Unsurprisingly, many of these tapes have circulated among fans on the bootleg market for years -- reappearing from year to year under a variety of different titles. Lipstick Killers is only a meager nine tracks in length. On a few selections, we get a glimpse at the original Dolls lineup (which included late drummer Billy Murcia), before the best-known Dolls lineup (with Jerry Nolan replacing Murcia) takes shape. Included are such glam classics as "Looking for a Kiss" and "Personality Crisis", as well as a fine cover of "Don't Mess With Cupid" (which really should have been included on one of their full-lengths -- it could have possibly served as a breakthrough single), plus such punk prototypes as "Pills" and "Human Being".
