Dr. Ebbetts specializes in releasing digital remasterings from long-deleted and hard-to-obtain vinyl records, particularly issues from the audiophile Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) label. Although the Ebbetts catalogue has many artists, it is most known for Beatles CDs transferred from the best quality MFSL releases, US releases and mono vinyl sources. While lables like Millenium, BEAT, Mirror Spock and Fabulous Sound Labs (FSL) also issue 'needle drops' of Beatles vinyl, Dr. Ebbetts is regarded by many audiophiles as being the highest quality. For those interested in the technical, one source close to the Dr says that Ebbetts says that he uses no noise reduction and that there's no magic formula...just a good ear and patience.

Motörhead, is a long-lived and iconic British heavy metal band formed in 1975 by former roadie for Jimi Hendrix, bassist, singer and songwriter Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister. They are widely recognized as progenitors of thrash & speed metal, a fusion of heavy metal and what was soon to become hardcore punk. Consequently they influenced countless rock, punk rock, and heavy metal bands that followed. Usually a power trio, Motörhead had particular success in the early 1980s with several successful singles in the UK Top 40 chart. The albums Overkill, its follow on, Bomber, Ace of Spades, and particularly No Sleep ‘til Hammersmith, cemented Motörhead’s reputation as one of Britain’s foremost heavy metal groups. Unchain My Heart was the release Joe Cocker had been rebuilding for. The title cut returned him to the Top 40, and the song "A Woman Loves a Man" followed it there along with it being included in the Bull Durham film soundtrack. A solid effort from a veteran. (James Chrispell, AMG) Absolutely enjoyable.

Their debut offering Never Never Land was released in '71- it's a superb mixture of greasy, heads down, raging proto-punk and smokey, late night psychedelia. The finest songs on this album are undoubtedly the trippy title track, the slightly Floydian "Heavenly Man" and Twink's infamous "Do It!"

Jose Cid is a Portugese keyboardist and composer. This 1978 symphonic prog concept album is listed as one of Billboard's top 100 progressive rock albums of all time, currently ranks 126th on ProgArchives ratings and is considered by many to be a Mellotron masterpiece. This hard-to-find release is a must for fans of 70s European symphonic prog.
