Du très grand spectacle. Adulé, parfois détesté, Michel SARDOU dure et perdure pour le plaisir de la majorité d'entre nous. Une amicale, chaleureuse présence, une voix toujours aussi puissante, un charisme, une générosité sans faille, de l'humour à revendre...en 39 chansons couvrant sa belle carrière du début à aujourd'hui. Acccompagné par de sublimes musiciennes et musiciens (ils ne sont pas aussi jolis, forcément, mais ont un égal talent). Quant aux choristes, où Michel est-il allé les chercher ??? Incroyablement bellissimes, des voix à faire danser les Saints et une présence scénique...paradisiaque...forcément ! SARDOU enchaîne chansons sur chansons, avec élégance, talent, générosité.

Dylanesque Live: The London Sessions not only captures Ferry and his band performing the album live (for the camera – not an audience), it also gives insight into the rationale for and creation process of the project. Thankfully, as the interviews with Ferry make clear, his reasons for making the album were noble. As he explains, Dylan is an artist like Donne or Shakespeare, one whose work grows in mystique and quality with the passage of time. In essence, the versions on Dylanesque are Ferry’s interpretations of Dylan’s songs, much like an actor would interpret a Shakespearean monologue.
