XIII Století ("13th century"" in Czech) is a Czech gothic rock band. The beginning of the group can be dated to 1990. It arose from the ruins of punk trio Hrdinové Nové Fronty ("The Heroes of the New Front").

Another new band, this time Österreich based (from Austria). I keep on mix Austria and Australia thats why I chose to use Österreich -> this is safe for me. Edenbridge started as Power metal band, but from current view it wasn't the right decision for them. They cleared this field rather fast and it was only for their benefit. I'm guessing they're heading towards rock, they're going to 'soften up' some more. What I'm trying to say is their music is right now accessible enough. Has it been compromised and gotten too much into mainstream? I think and hope not, but maybe?

Another gothic rock/metal group? Is it possible? Another new one? Where are they coming from? Keep coming and coming... and what's so special everyone's so eager to play this style? Sometimes it falls into symphonic metal, which is the closest relative. So you'd guessed it, this new band plays Symphonic metal / Gothic metal How they differ from other? How they differ from let's say, famous Nightwish? Well, truth to say, who knows? Maybe the songs are bit slower, but then there are plenty of slower-playing-bands in that particular genre anyway. In fact, if you like this genre, you'll probably will like even this group and its albums. On the other hand, if you don't like this genre, you shouldn't bother to continue reading. ;-)

First solo album (I already posted her second) of former vocalist for the band Theatre of Tragedy and current vocalist for the band Leaves' Eyes. Her solo music is really soft compared to previous releases of Theatre of Tragedy. Solo work by the striking THEATRE OF TRAGEDY vocalist Liv Kristine Espenæs. Nick Holmes, vocalist with PARADISE LOST, puts in a guest appearance on the 1998 album 'Deus Ex Machina'.
