Nice post but that would be much better if it had a higher quality. Such works sould be converted with at least 320kbps. They are worht the effort.

I second that, and not only for classical music. Avax is one of the sites with the most «intellectual» visitors on the web, who worship quality and culture. The same quality should be sought when digitalizing data or in other technical aspects, so an «at least 256 kbits» rule (or even better, 320 kbits) should hardly be a problem these days.

While we are at it, I would also strongly recommend that music comes accompanied by four to five 30 sec. sample tracks. This way one wouldn't have to download several hundred megabytes just to find out that the contents were not what one expected. It might also help to bring more different, non-mainstream music to new fans, because one would simply give music from other countries/languages/cultures/styles a shot when it is no longer inevitable to buy a huge, fat cat in a sack. :-)

Even so, where is Track 18 - Tu Che M'ai preso il Cuor?
