Daredevil pasó a ser un personaje mediocre y casi invisible gracias a Fran Miller. Cuando éste autor tomó el título empezó a dar relevancia al lado humano y dramático (antes que al superheroico) del personaje. transformó con este cómic en un personaje atractivo y complejo, con el que desarrolló esta gran historia haciéndola un clásico de los cómics para todos los tiempos.
