The need for adequate statistical tools to measure and anticipate the amplitude of the potential moves of financial markets is clearly expressed, in particular for derivative markets. Classical theories, however, are based on simplified assumptions and lead to a systematic (and sometimes dramatic) underestimation of real risks. Theory of Financial Risk and Derivative Pricing summarises recent theoretical developments, some of which were inspired by statistical physics. Starting from the detailed analysis of market data, one can take into account more faithfully the real behaviour of financial markets (in particular the 'rare events') for asset allocation, derivative pricing and hedging, and risk control.

Увидел тут сейчас в гуглевской социальной рекламе, которая у нас на сайте крутится вопрос — мол знаете ли вы, кто был первым человеком, ступившим на поверхность Луны? Ну ё-моё, совсем они нас за диких держат! Вот взять хотя б меня — начитанный же человек, с высшим образованием — между прочим, лучшим в мире, да! Кто ступил, кто ступил… Юрий Гагарин, кто же еще… Ну ладно, оставим эту вздорную тему, и перейдем к другой — не менее вздорной. Там ниже вас ждет немного книг, но это неважно, вы мне лучше вот чего скажите — как вам… ну вообще вот это все? Удобно? Кстати! Любознательным товарищам рекомендую скачать с сайта разработчиков нашего нового движка инструкцию по евойной эксплуатации — хошь в формате CHM, а хошь в формате PDF, и внимательно ея изучить — на всякий пожарный случай. Потому что лично я вот еще парюсь со страшной силой, что в общем и целом на производительности труда довольно сильно сказывается. Псевдотеги эти, черт бы их побрал… Ну ничего, втянемся постепенно. Ладно, давайте теперь перейдем к вожделенным книжкам:

Разработчикам в среде 3D Max, книга конечно не маленькая 66 мега, но вот тут спецы мне подсказывают что полезная очень. Кстати если кто из спецов почитает - просмотрит, напишите свое мнение в коментах...

Так, чего у нас за это время произошло… Заработал раздел ARCHIVE, который суть сборище предыдущих публикаций — кто там чего не успел докачать, милости просим. Потом: с минуты на минуту заработает GALLERIES, а в ночи еще и FORUM. Если, конечно, не случится какой-нибудь неожиданной беды, но тут уж как Бог даст… Ну и все вроде. Теперь приглашаем к разделочному столу играющих в докторов лиц — мы тут книжечку для вас надыбали, заберите пожалуйста!

Достаточно интересная книга по PHP5 для продвинутых.
