David R. Shircliff, "Build A Remote-Controlled Robot"
ISBN: 0071385436 | 5/25/2002 | 112 page | PDF | 1.8 MB

TAB Electronics is the premier name in amateur robotics. Since the 1987 release of Gordon McComb's blockbuster Robot Builder's Bonanza hobbyists have looked to TAB as the source for cutting-edge, how-to robotics titles.

These groundbreaking, heavily illustrated books explain how to create everythinbg from basic, simple robots to ones that walk, see, feel, talk, listen and fight! Written by "professors of robotics" such as Gordon McComb and John Iovine, they're great for beginners as well as experienced robot builders.

Authoritative, innovative, fun, and always far ahead of anyone else, TAB continues the tradition with Build Your Own Remote-Controlled Robot.

On the contrary, thanks to a mirror other than RS. ButcherBird should have published an alternative mirror or limited to some days theNo mirror exclusivity.

ButcherBird got the pdf wherever he took it from, got the useful pic, selected and pasted the lines of text, all this effort surely wanting to share something with us in a way to make us happy; i know that feeling, i myself posted a lot of stuff and is nice to see how others enjoy what one have done, share their toughts, all this makes a sense of community. These mirrors posters don´t ever say thanks, they download the file from the original author´s post, upload it to a mirror and just put a single line with a link. Some (or all) of they don´t make posts of their own, just dig the whole site adding mirrors methodically on every new post they can catch. Some people say this is made trying to collect points in the mirror, i don´t know about this, but i´d prefer the post with a visible human work behind it, not these kind of mechanized posts. You can find original posts that are artwork, many useful info, pics, cd covers, list of themes or topics, etc.; and they have 10 comments, the first 7 are just a line, a link. And don´t come to me with logic blah blah of "stealing a stealer", of course this is a site of pirate stuff, we all are pirates, i´m a pirate, but i admire and want other´s work, no need to defecate on other´s work. Don´t know how long have you been coming here, but you´d loved avaxhome time ago, when ppl where asking for permission to the author to post a mirror, in the case that the original link was busted or something. I´m getting tired of this lack of respect, lack of common sense, lack of honour. And got tired of ppl like you crying for RS links, and when the poster gives you a working RS link, are crying for alternate mirrors, more, more.

By the way, mirror link from KiskA24 is not working at this time, there you can give "thanks to a mirror other than RS"
