There are a surprisingly small number of encyclopedias covering environmental science and environmental issues. The expanded and updated edition of Gale's Environmental Encyclopedia does little to improve on the quality of such offerings.

Good luck finding this much information about vehicle dynamics in any other book, that is as well put together and easy to comprehend as this one. Well suited to those with engineering/math/science related backgrounds but not all of the information is beyond grasp of most people.

This book will inform, educate and open the mind of any practitioner who seeks more enlightenment in the art. It was refreshing to see the existence of other branches in the art revealed. The book serves its purpose in presenting the reader an extensive history and had made known all that is available in the art to the reader.

The Hermetic Museum, or "Musaeum Hermeticum (renovatum et amplificatum)", originally published and printed in 1625 by Lukas Jennis, and later reissued in amplified form in 1678 (and as a reprint in 1749), should be counted among the most influential late compilations of alchemical material in addition to "Theatrum chemicum" and "Bibliotheca chemica curiosa".
