Dear members and visitors,
as you might have already noticed, we do have serious problems with our server network since yesterday morning. Our technical team tries hard to solve the problem - currently we run some kind of emergency configuration, which allows you to access AvaxHome, but cannot compensate the missing server performance.
As all new pages are meanwhile cached, you cacn quick access them for downloads. But every part of AvaxHome which needs to bypass the cache system, like personal messages, writing comments, creating new publications and the full moderation system is currently almost unusable.
We already have tons of new publications in the waiting queue, but cannot process them. It currently really makes no sense to create even more new publications which also cannot go public now.
It also would be great if our mirrors guys would take a rest - flooding AvaxHome with mirror comments just wastes the little performance resources we currently have and slows the whole system even more down for all users.

Short notice:
Since last friday, the redirection from 'avaxhome.ru' to the actual used domain doesn't work anymore so that all old bookmarks and links in older publications are not functional at the moment - let's hope, that this is only temporary.
I agree with "fine" : some of my bookmarks are 'avaxhome.ru' some are avaxhome.info and now we've got avaxspere.com ...why is that so? I think it only creates confusion, not to mention the time we need to correct many bookmars that we have.

OK, enough smalltalk. I now try again to get a few publications out of the waiting queue. Mainly large music publications, where we do not have to worry about mirrors :-) After some hours of sleep Avax will take care again for the ebooks etc.

Nice idea to put this wellknown info back on top - now even with 'closed for any comments'-status.
It would be more helpful, to tell us what really happens with AH and what we have to expect in the near future.

should be updated to
"WE HAVE VERY BIG TECHNICAL PROBLEMS"
to be serious, the most improvement thing will be to control own comments.
If i put a wrong comment or double post(triple...), the idea is to create a delete option to delete the post i have done.
I think, with this mode, the post will be more clear.
same thing if i create a post & have seen after that my post is older & old links are dead(and i have lost the release now), A delete mode will be welcome.
Coz sometimes, when you do a search about something you can do, you found it but all links on the older post are dead.
So i create a post about the same release(book, picture, magazine) but it's not published coz of double post of another too old same release without any good links.
That's really confuse situation :-)

I don't understand your problem - if you write under your posting:

it should be confirmed by the moderator
I'm not talking about one of my old post.
for example.
a publisher(not me) have created in january 2007 a post with a book called "I loves banana" :-)
I've tried to catch this book today but the links are dead.
So, i've done a post myself with the same book "I loves banana"
but the book is not published coz it's still on search option.
it's a problem coz if a put a comment in this oldesd release with my good links, this release will not be re-up coz i'm not the creator.
And if the creator know that is release is too old with no more links available, he don't have any option to delete it.

What I wrote also is valid if you are not the owner of the dead publication!
The moderator (if he knows the facts) always will do his best for the community and when a publication is dead since a longer time while the publisher doesn't care about this, it's good for the community if a re-post is done - regardless who does it.
To give control of deleting comment when they don't respect author rules like "No mirror" when only on link is added, it's not a good choice coz i think some authors will delete always comments when they are needed.
Remember that, Everydody don't have a Premium account on all Filesharing Sites and all Filesharing sites have their good & bad way. So like i have read on Avax rules, to give 2 links choice is a good way of choice.. but to have one with a "No mirror", it's a stupidity.
and of course, to insert one popular link on the 2 given, and not one unknow lame filesharing sites with one hour of wait :-)
So for me, i think the best way is to give an option of deleting abusive comments when and only if the author put 2 Links and only for this case. If the author put one poor link, this option will not allowed.
If this kind of thing is possible to insert, it will be nice... but for me, Mirrors on my posts are not a problem... but of course don't flood my post for this reason !!! :-)
